The Research On Successful Operating Model Of Private Universities In China

The private education has passed through more than20years since the rapid rise of China along with the reform and opening up policy. The development of private education has been regarded as a fundamental policy of the party and the state. Up to this day, the private higher education has become an important strength to promote higher education popularization.However, at present, the development of our private universities is uneven and the overall image is not perfect either. Most of the private universities face problems, such as smaller scale, somewhat low level, instability of the stuff group, poor management and operating conditions, and the delayed effect of development is not strong enough. These have seriously restricted the improvement of operation level and development of private universities.This study is based on the discussion of the successful operating model of our private universities. The main purposes of this study are following:1. Through the logic analysis, defining correctly the concept "school operating" and analyzing related theory and frame of school operation model.2. Doing deep and detailed research and case analysis of operation models in universities of Heilongjiang province, in order to obtain first-hand research materials.3. Making analysis and research to the statistics and attributions, selecting and summarizing successful operation models and enlightenments and providing practical operation references to the similar private universities.The study mainly follows the basic thought of case study, adopting the interview, questionnaire investigation and literature research during the course of the research. The study object is the representative private university in Heilongjiang province:East University of Heilongjiang. Through the statistical analysis of the interview to the operators and superior departments, the questionnaire investigation to teachers and students as well as access to the education statistics data of the government, summing up the representative successful operating model and enlightenment.
