In more mature under the environment of China’s education reform, school folk music community, is an important part of music teaching and music clubs, is every Chinese people should cherish the art of the cultural heritage. Also, let students understand the national music culture is also a feature of primary school-based music textbooks in China. Since the new curriculum reform in our country music education increased the national music culture, especially attaches great importance to the strength of national instrumental music knowledge. And folk music community just became an extension and expansion of school-based curriculum, so that the students can more profound intuitive knowledge and understanding of nationality music. From folk music of extra-curricular activities to national instrumental music the second classroom, and then to ethnic instrumental music society, primary school instrumental music education finally completed its luxuriant metamorphosis, towards improvement and specification. The "community" as the title of music activities, has quietly become a indispensable art of China’s basic education classroom teaching links, and increasingly developing with The Times change.This article is divided into five chapters, the introduction mainly expounds the origin, significance, methods and related research dynamic. The first chapter for the historical background of this article. Main introduced the whole situation of Chinese national instrumental music education, then fell to elementary music education of the overall situation, from plane to point, thus leads to the second chapter primary appearance and development of folk music community. Lead to the important position of national instrumental music teaching in primary school. The third chapter focuses on practice is the theoretical basis of the above research, combined with the observation of the folk music community primary school teaching, as well as national instrumental music teachers’communication with a line of elementary school, to carry on the empirical analysis, concluded that is the content of the chapter4. Finally, the fifth chapter mainly has carried on the summary to this article as a whole, the sublimation of national instrumental music teaching in primary school folk music community education significance.
