High school music education, music teaching is an integral part of, it can not only strengthen the students' experience and understanding of the beauty of art, but also effectively promote the development of students' personality. However, in music education is relatively backward in Wulate Houqi area, the instrumental music teaching facing many difficulties, how to develop the teaching of instrumental music is imperative. The through the field research method of Inner Mongolia wulatehouqi of music education of the middle school music teaching development and current situation of the research and analysis.Wulatehouqi three middle schools in the development of instrumental music teaching level is relatively low, the teachers strength is not strong enough is the main factors affecting the area in instrumental music education development level is low, and teaching methods, a single, lack of equipment, students to learn musical instruments, the interest is not high enough, their own conditions relatively poor and family factors of a series of influence the development of instrumental music teaching the problem found during the research process. For example, according to the questionnaire, statistical charts to illustrate the existing problems and puts forward some methods and suggestions to solve the relevant problems, let us work together to improve the status of the local high school music teaching.This paper is divided into four chapters, chapter one is the introduction part, mainly from the selected topic reason, wulatehouqi area instrumental music teaching situation, existing problem, students' basic quality, teaching and what characteristics and advances in several aspects to the theoretical and practical point of view to demonstrate thesignificance and value of research.The second chapter is the investigation, wulatehouqi only three of the middle school as the investigation object, through the form of questionnaires and chart instructions and analysis of the level of instrumental music teaching in middle school in the area.The third chapter is to give some training to improve the method of instrumental music education wulatehouqi area.The fourth chapter puts forward some methods and suggestions to solve the problem of lack of high school instrumental music education wulatehouqi area.
