With the development of society and science and technology progress, humanity has entered the ecological civilization. The level of ecological civilization has become the important measure of national and social progress, and he level of consciousness and behavior of the mitigation of climate change is an important part of the construction of ecological civilization. The contemporary college students are the main object of study. Contemporary college students as an important social group, is the backbone of the development of national and social. They have responsibility to protect environment, and the mitigation of climate change. Their climate change awareness and behavior level play a vital role for the state and society and even the development of the whole human. A questionnaire survey by the students for the issue of climate change, they have a high degree of concern, but their degree of understanding is not so deep. They want to make efforts to mitigate climate change, but their real action is not so much, which showing their knowledge and behavior is not consistent. This phenomenon has much to do with the lack of education about climate changes in the system of college students.College has the responsibility to improve the students’ awareness of climate change and the level of behavior. According to Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory,"Three Represents" and the scientific concept of development campus environment construction of software and hardware, build " Low Carbon Campus ", strengthen the construction of the climate change education teaching resources, improve the curriculum development of climate change education, and find more form of climate change education. The college students are a part of society, Social and family have the responsibility to carry on the students’ climate change education. The college students should also pay more attention to the role of internal factors, continue to restrict their behavior, only through the mutual coordination, can fundamentally improve the level of the college students’ awareness and behavior about climate change.
