Application of information technology in teaching is the important content ofeducational information construction and the new curriculum reform, the application level andperformance directly affects the school teaching process. In order to scientifically evaluateinformation technology’s influence on high school teaching, this thesis used many ways tocollect information, including questionnaires, field investigation, structured interviews,document retrieval, and used the statistical analysis methods to research the application ofinformation technology teaching in ninth middle school in TaoYuan County.This thesis consists of five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, consists of six smallparts: The first section described the background of the application of information technologyteaching, namely under the information society, information technology not only have a greatinfluence on the social economy and culture, but also brings a great challenge ineducation. On the other hand, the development of China’s education informationization andthe reform of basic curriculum, the information technology is required into classroomteaching. Finally, to promote the traditional teaching concept and teaching structure reform.The second section set out the theoretical conditions, including the duality of technology,technology alienation theory, educational information theory, the innovation diffusiontheory put forward by Rodgers; Humanistic Learning theory put forward by Maslow’s. In thethird section, the thesis analyzed the research results from the domestic and foreign scholars,and proposed use the combination of quantitative and qualitative and multi-angle way do thestudy. The forth section described the theoretical and practical significance. The theoreticalsignificance is to construct a theoretical model of high school information technologyteaching application; Practical significance is to improve the teacher’s information technology,also provide a reference for the each school in TaoYuan County. The fifth section describedthe contents of this thesis and the approach to the study. The sixth section explained theinnovation point mentioned in the research. The second chapter is divided into two parts. The first section provides a briefdescription of the survey. The second section made a comprehensive analysis of theapplication of information technology from the information technology infrastructureconstruction, teachers’ technology awareness, technology utilization and specific informationtechnology teaching application. The study found that the school teacher hold a positiveattitude in the application of information technology teaching, and more and more teachersagree that technology play a decisive role in school teaching. But, because of their weektechnology ability, and the lack of training, they didn’t have much enough scientific andtechnological knowledge, and their ability to use technology is limited.The third chapter analyzes the effect of the application of information technology inschool teaching. First of all, the thesis analyzes the positive role of information technology inteaching. The positive effects include promotes the traditional teaching organization forms,teaching means and methods, teaching resources and content, as well as the students’ learningstyle. Secondly, the application of information technology not only has a positive effect andnegative effect. The negative effects include information technology, teacher and student.The fourth chapter analyzes the factors influencing the application of informationtechnology in school teaching, including management system, concepts, informationtechnology and teachers’ personal factors. And the paper use the descriptive analysis,correlation analysis, chi-square test, linear regression analysis to study the influence of schoolfunding level and teachers’ personal background on the application of information technologyteaching.The fifth chapter summarizes the application results and problems, also seriouslyreconsider the problems should pay attention to in the application of information technologyteaching. The paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
