With the innovation of Chinese higher education and the continuous deepening of itssystem reform, a large number of academies merge or upgrade to the new undergraduateinstitutions in order to adapt the development of the popularization of higher education,.These new undergraduate institutions implement two-level management in order to speed upthe process which to be new undergraduate institutions. But the effects of the reform did notachieve the expected results. Some contradictions and problems have been found to influenceand restrict the improvement of the education quality.The thesis uses the management theoretic “Deming Circle” which put forward byWilliam Edwards Deming, and makes a research on the teaching operation management of GUniversity. This thesis contains five parts. The first part describes the cause and purpose ofthis research and the achieved study had been put forward and the research methods and so on.The second part introduces the basic concept, contents, and characteristics of teachingoperation management. The third part generally present the basic situation and status ofteaching operation management in G University including the teaching plan management, theteaching course management, the teaching checking management and teaching estimatemanagement. In fourth part, points out the problems on the teaching operation management ofG University and analyzes the reasons of them. At the last part, the thesis puts forward someadvices to improve the teaching operation management in G University. Such as establish thecorrect educational goals, increase the proportion of practical courses in the curriculumsystem, reform personnel training mode, standardized management system of teachingoperation, establish a scientific management assessment and evaluation mechanism. Thispaper aims at the specific issues to propose solutions in details through literature analysis andcase study method, which ensures the sustainable development and reform of local collegesand universities and have certain reference and value for scholars in researching such issues infuture.
