To develop female students’independent personalities and to train outstanding female worker, has important meaning for our social progress.In recent years, more and more researches focus on independent personality and college students’ independent personality. This paper put Female Students in a specific environment overall the independent personality problems, combined with a survey of the Minnan college students, and through visit investigation to analyze the current situation of the independent personality of the female students, problems, and analyze the causes. This can form the theoretical basis and guidance methods, which about colleges Ideological and political workers to educate and guide the health of the independent personality of the female students. What’s more, to provide a reference for the society to cultivate more outstanding female students.This article by visiting investigation and questionnaire data analysis found that the independent personality status quo of female students is:for laterally aspect, independent personalities of boys have more advantages than girl; for longitudinal aspect, overall independence of the girls, especially ideologically independent was a progressive state. A girl who has independent personality know how to love themselves, and have courage to face setbacks in life, also has a clear goal for the future. A girl who is lack of independent personality’s performance: they are overly concerned about themselves, lack of confidence, lack of their own opinions, and always want to solve the problem by means of external forces.The main reason for the lack of independent personality of female students is from following four aspects:society, family, education, and female students themselves. They are influence the formation of the independent personality of the female students from different extent. So, it is necessary to strengthen the independent personality of female college students, there are four specific ways. First, the society should focus on social institution and cultural construction, create harmonious and invisible education environment. Second, strengthen college education, play a college education enhance role, in particular, should play a local cultural characteristics, such as southern Fujian region can allows the Hui’an female spirit come into the campus, set up special courses to train female students self-confidence, autonomy, self-reliance and self-improvement. Third, family should establish a correct view of women, parents should set an example, to develop the basic function of family education. Fourth, strengthen self-construction of the female students, and to promote the healthy growth of the independent personality. Form a "Four in One" all-round education system, including society, universities, families and female students.
