Research The Cultivation Of College Student's Independent Personality

College students are supposed to be the hope of the whole nation and the future of the motherland. Their personality will develop in which directions and how develop could be conducive to the individual and social progresses has become the hot issue in modern times. Independent personality as an important characteristic plays an important component in the whole personality system. With the increasing advancement of the Modern society and the continuous development of human beings, we are required to change the traditional dependent personality into a modern independent one. Therefore, modern higher education also need reflect this change and train the college students an independent personality. Based on this reason, this paper tried to analysis the causes and formation of student's lack of independent personality, basing on the analysis of the current status of Chinese college students' independent personality, and then discuss how to construct college students' independent personality. This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the Introduction. It will analyze the aim of selecting this topic, list domestic and abroad research status of "independent personality".The second part will set forth the content of college students'independent personality. It will explain the content of personality and independent personality. It will summarize the content of independent personality of the college students through systemizing the content of personality and independent personality.The third part analyzes the performance and the reason of defect of college students'independent personality. There are three defects of college students' independent personality. The defects of college students'independent personality are lack of self-consciousness, lack of self-learning, and lack of self-care. The defects lead to the four factors of restricting development of college students'independent personality:the factors of social environment, the factors of school environment, the factors of family environment, and the factors of college students himself.The fourth part gives the way of building college students'independent personality. First, we have to clear-cut the three objectives of cultivating college students'independent personality:to achieve the integrate of the physical health and the mental health, to seek the integrate of the real personality and the ideal personality, to promote the integrate of improving individual competence and developing all of the freedom; Next, we have to clear-cut the four principles of cultivating college students' independent personality:pointed principle, people-oriented principle, the principle of integrating knowledge and actions, the principle of promoting integration; Finally, it will give some specific measures of cultivating college students'independent personality:to create a favorable social environment, to create a favorable school environment, to create a favorable family environment, to cultivate college student's consciousness of building himself. It will trying to improve objective factors of society, schools, families, and students in their own and build college students' independent personality.
