Geometry is one of the important contents of junior high school mathematics. It plays an irreplaceable role not only in cultivating students’ ability of logic thinking and intuitive imagination, but also in students’ good personality and unique innovation. However, most junior high school students have perceptual thinking and bad habits of thinking, which makes them easy to get confused in learning. Therefore, geometry became the focus of the previous reform in mathematical education. How to grasp the valuable mathematics in the practical teaching and improve effective teaching of geometry for the purpose of better achieving the teaching goal is the current problem which is worth thinking and studying for the teachers in every junior middle school.According to the Full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(experiment draft) published in2011by the Ministry of education and the junior high school mathematics textbook published by the people’s education press, the paper is to study how to achieve effective geometry teaching goal in junior middle school under the new curriculum implementation. The full text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which reviews the research background about the effective teaching research and theoretical foundation both in domestic and foreign countries, proposing the research goal and the implementation steps of this project. In the second chapter, the current situation of junior high school geometry teaching is analyzed through questionnaires and interviews, which is useful to help explore how to teach junior high school geometry effectively. In the third chapter, the author uses four main classrooms teaching in junior high school as ways of effective teaching research. In the fourth chapter, case study is used through detailed tracking of students learning to provide a reference for the effective study of geometry. The fifth chapter uses the experimental study to further research the effective design of the four links in junior high school geometry teaching. The sixth chapter gives analysis and suggestions after learning the experimental results.
