In order to investigate the present situation of the learning boredom and the boredom proneness, and their influential factors, we investigated734college students, using Learning Boredom Questionnaire for College Students (LBQ), Boredom Proneness Questionnaire for College Students (BPQ), and Self-Supporting Personality Scale for Adolescent Students (SSPS). There are main conclusions:1. The LBQ has good consistency reliability and a factor structure consistent with the theory, there are six factors in LBQ.2. The levels of the learning boredom and boredom proneness are lower than the middle among the college students.3. There is significant difference among gender, grade and major in the learning boredom and the boredom proneness. That is, the male has the higher level of boredom than the female, junior students feel the highest level on boredom and the freshmen feel the lowest, the students on science feel much more boredom than those on humanity.4. The learning boredom and boredom proneness are significantly negatively correlated with the self-supporting personality, interpersonal self-supporting and personal self-supporting.5. The results of regression analysis and the structural equation model indicated that interpersonal self-supporting and personal self-supporting can predict the level of boredom proneness directly, and the boredom proneness can predict the learning boredom directly. While interpersonal self-supporting and personal self-supporting can be expected to predict learning boredom by way of boredom proneness. |
