Growing old has been one of the three major global social issues in the 21st century. Driven by the trends, china has also completed the transition to an aging society. In the context of an aging society, the elder people and pension issues have been studied by demography, sociology, biology and other disciplines in focus.The elders are vulnerable, and the older elders are more vulnerable, should be paying more attention. Females of the elders in the high age occupy a large proportion of the high age elders, and many live in rural, therefore, the study to the pension of these people seems the critical to solve the old-supporting issues and being a way to build a well-society and a necessary requirement and choice to build a harmonious socialistAs the researches do to the elders in rural are few, let alone the older elders. The paper attempts to take female older elders in rural as the subjects, get along with the literature and empirical investigations, to analysis the problems and reasons about pension to the female older elders in the countryside, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.The paper is including five parts:The first part is the introduction, including the origin and meaning, the research method and ideas of the paper, and the related concepts of the female older elders.The second part is the reality of the pension of female older elders in the countryside. On the basis of interview survey to the female older elders of Qianshan of Anhui province, the paper try to describe the basic population situation, including the age, quantity, structure, culture, education, marriage, income, pension, and spiritual comfort, etc, of the female older elders in rural area.The third part is the pension issues in the countryside of the female older elders, mainly including:Firstly, there is a large proportion of female older elders in rural, and it is very a big problem; Secondly, education level of female older elders is low, many widows, poor physical condition. Thirdly, female older elders in rural are in low-income, and mostly be supported by their children. Fourthly, it is a big problem about the care of the female older elders. Fifthly, female older elders often feel empty and depressed, spiritual needs not being met. The fourth part puts forward the countermeasures of pensions of the female older elders in rural:First, to promote the new rural social pension insurance policies, to protect the female older elders in the countryside from the institutional way; Second, to strengthen the function of family to support the elders, to solve the basic issues of the daily life. Third, actively promote to establish the communities and a group of pension institutions, helping the female older elders to live a happy life who are without children. Fourth, to reform the medical insurance system, and effectively solve the problems of " medical treatment is difficult and expensive" to the female older elders, to protect their health and longevity.Finally, the conclusion of the paper, through survey and analysis, the paper argues the old-supporting of the female old elders in rural has became serious. As the vulnerable group of the old people, the demands in terms of the economic support, social care, health care, or in the emotional need, the female older elders in rural should be given more attentions and helps.
