Teacher is the main influencer of educational revolution, their teaching ability will majorly affect onthe maturity process of students. Universities and colleges train the professional and qualified teachers willinfluence the healthy growth of the most of Chinese teenagers. It will also affect on the main picture of thedevelopment and revolution on basic education.This essay uses Henan University’s major of Professional Teaching of Physical Education in AerobicsSpecial as the research subject. Assembling the utilization of literature data, expert interviews,questionnaires, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, this essay has analyzed the teaching ability ofyoung teachers, which graduate from this major after they had1to5years working experience. Theresearch results have shown as follows:1. According to the self-evaluation survey done by employer organizations and young teachers whohad graduated in range of1to5years, it is found that the quality of teaching is just at an average level.However, the result is not in proportion to the effort that aerobics teachers put on training. The students ofPhysical Education aerobics in Henan University showed different levels of weakness in the preparation ofaerobics class, the teaching ability during class and after class; for the abilities of guided teaching, classmanagement and class controlling, the poor performance are commonly perceived. Especially for theability of guided teaching, it requires more effort to be made.2. The employer organizations require teachers to quickly adapt to the new teaching and learningenvironment, be qualified for the task of teaching and have good communication skills. The demands madeby employer organizations indicate a direction for most young teachers. In fact, after teachers officiallystarting their jobs, the incoming trainings are bound to extend teachers’ working time, which proves theschools culture out of touch with the actual application.3. There are many factors that affect Physical Education students’ aerobics teaching skills: schools toofocus on the professional development while ignoring the ability to cultivation; the aerobics teaching abilityassessment did not receive enough attention; students of aerobics teaching lack of practicing opportunities;teaching capacity-building programs should meet the current employment needs. 4. There are several strategies can be used to improve Physical Education professional aerobicsteaching ability: increase the aerobics practice opportunity; focus on training aerobics teaching skills anddeveloping teaching competency programs; list the ability of aerobics teaching as a part of teaching content;list aerobics teaching ability as a part of assessment contents; train teachers to enable them to be adaptive tocurriculum reform and school reform.
