Recently, the mental health of junior middle school students has been becoming one of the most focus studies. Junior high school students are in the key period of personal development. The junior middle school students are in the youth adolescency and their have prematuration mentality.We must strengthen the education of mental health for the junior middle school students in order that the students can properly know themselves.Gratitude, understanding social support, family function are the psychological educational world research hot spot in recent years. This study from gratitude, understanding social support and family function three aspects, to explore its relationship with mental health is important theoretical and practical significance. The instruments for this study are Family Assessment Device(FAD), Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS) and Junior high school students gratitude questionnaire. This research investigates into middle school in Changchun about352students in order to analyze the link among the famliy function,perceived social support and gratitude.SPSS18.0is adopted to analyze the inquisitional data.The findings are as follows:In the first,Middle level of gratitude is good; Junior middle school students better comprehension of social support level; Junior middle school students had good family functioning.In the second, Gratitude, understanding social support and family function in junior high school students by gender, grade, father’s education level exists significant differences.In the third, Junior high school students gratitude and understanding was significantly positively related to social support; Junior high school students understand social support and family;function was significantly negative correlation; Junior high school students gratitude and family function was significantly negative correlation.In the fourth Junior high school students understand social support, family function have forecast for gratitude.In the fifth, Junior high school students understand social support in partial intermediary role between family function and gratitude.
