Junior middle school students are in adolescence,it is the middle stage of the development of the individual from the children to the adults.Teenagers are no longer seen as children,and they are not adults.In a transitional stage of rapid growth,that is an important period of personal development for them.At this time the youth psychology is not mature enough,and the personality of them is not perfect,pay attention to their mental health,carrying out mental heaith education consciously,it has an important role in helping junior middle school students to develop healthy and positive personality.In recent years,as a kind of excellent human qualities,gratitude is getting more and more attention.It is not only because of the quality of gratitude on the importance of individual moral development and cultivation of personality,also comes under the new situation of teenagers gratitude present situation facing the new problems.According to the cognitive theory of emotion of gratitude,the key of gratitude is individual's cognition.Junior middle school students only on others' kindness behavior perception,to be able to have gratitude psychology of acts of mercy.So perceived social support plays an important role in individual's gratitude.In developmental psychology,Bronfenbrenner's ecosystem theory holds that environment is the main source of human development.For junior middle school students,family is the largest micro system on the development of them,which parenting style to children in all aspects of development have lasting effect,including individual gratitude and perceived social support.Previous studies have indicated that parental rearing patterns,perceived social support and gratitude are significantly correlated with each other.Therefore in this study,student will find the mechanism of action between parental rearing patterns,perceived social support and gratitude,propose the method to improve the level of gratitude by exploring the relation between these three.This study has important theoretical and practical significance.This study plan using Gratitude scale,Perceived social support scale,and EMBU to launch the investigation.There are 538 students participate in the investigation.Data were processed and analyzed by SPSS20.0 software,the results are as follows:The level of gratitude,parenting style and perceived social support status of junior middle school students:(1)Junior middle school students' gratitude level is good,and there are significant differences in gender,grade level.(2)In the junior middle school students' parental rearing pattern except F6 father's excessive protection level is lower than the norm,in the other way is higher than the norm.(3)Junior middle school students' perceived social support level is better.The relationship between parenting rearing,perceived social support and gratitude:(1)Parenting rearing were significantly related to perceived social support and gratitude;perceived social support had obviously positive correlation with gratitude.(2)Perceived social support has mediating effect between the parenting rearing and gratitude.The survey shows that the effect of parenting rearing on junior middle school students' gratitude was totally mediated by parent's punishment,preference and refuse to deny.And perceived social support was a mediator in the relationship between parent's emotional warmth and understanding and junior middle school students' gratitude.
