The Junior middle school is an important period for a person's development,which can easily lead to various psychological problems.Emotional intelligence is a psychological variable that affects people's coping with environmental needs and pressures.Its cultivation is helpful to mold students' personality.This study focuses on the influence of self-esteem on the emotional intelligence of junior middle school students.Self-efficacy and perceived social support mediate t he relationship between self-esteem and emotional intelligence.In this study,we use Self-esteem Scale,Emotional Intelligence Scale,Perceived Social Support Scale and General Self-efficacy Scale as research tools.Study randomly picked 681 Junior middle school students in Hehei Province as the research object.On this basis,understand the basic situation of junior middle school students' self-esteem,emotional intelligence,self-efficacy and perceived social support,explore the correlation between these four variables.The results suggest that:(1)Junior middle school students' self-esteem is in the middle and upper levels and has significant differences in origin of students,the difference of self-esteem of junior middle school students is a difference in different ages.(2)Junior middle school students' self-efficacy is in the middle and upper levels and has significant differences in origin of students,the difference of self-efficacy of junior middle school students is obvious between boy and girl.(3)Junior middle school students' perceived social support is in the middle and upper levels and has significant differences in origin of students,the difference of self-esteem of junior middle school students is a difference in different ages.(4)Junior middle school students' emotional intelligence is in the middle and upper levels and has significant differences in origin of students,the difference of self-esteem of junior middle school students is a difference in different ages,the difference of self-efficacy of junior middle school students is obvious between boy and girl.(5)Junior middle school students' self-esteem,emotional intelligence,self-efficacy and perceived social support are notably related respectively.(6)Self-efficacy is the intermediary variable between self-esteem and emotional intelligence,and the partial mediation effect is remarkable.(7)Perceived social support is the intermediary variable between self-esteem and emotional intelligence,and the partial mediation effect is remarkable.
