Abstract/Summary:
With the acceleration in the transform of society and the influence of various types ofideological trends from abroad, high school students’ outlook on values is getting diversified.The effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in high school is also getting morechallenging. The traditional way of ideological and political teaching is cramming educationand ruled by the only voice of the teacher, which focuses on the instruction of knowledge andthe development of students’ cognizance ability. This traditional model met the need of largenumber of technical talents in a certain period in the past. However, with the progress anddevelopment of the society, this model is no longer suitable for the idea of bringing up newtalents. The introduction of situational experience, a different teaching model, providesteachers with a brand new thought to get out of the current difficulties of education and showsthe light leading out the darkness. It takes the optimized situation as the space and builds asituational environment based on the characteristics of books to lead students to practice andmotivate them to learn during the experience. So as to sublime students’ situation, attitude andoutlook on values and this is the real meaning of the ideological and political teaching in highschool. The teaching model of situational experience requires teachers to use diverse teachingmethods to create a certain situation while they are instructing, to encourage students toparticipate and inspire their cognizance, so they can naturally receive the correct guide ofoutlook on life, the world and values. According to the physical and mental developcharacteristics of high school students, the guide of Marxist philosophy and the reference ofrelated theories of other subjects, the paper points out the problems of current ideological andpolitical teaching in high school, which are emphasizing the instruction of knowledge andneglecting the experience of the students; lack of agreement in emotion and no samefeelings in the relationship between teacher and students; stressing on books in class andneglecting practice. It also analyzes the reasons of the problems. Due to this, the author triesto do the study of the use of situational experience in ideological and political teaching in highschool and meet the demand of new curriculum standard and times.
