As the new basic education curriculum reform continues to promote and expand, the reform of classroom teaching becomes one of the key elements of the education reform.The physical environment of primary classroom which has been considered as a micro-environment of classroom teaching attracts more and more attention and discussion of academics.Construction of the physical environment of the primary classroom has the potential educational value.It hosts the potential information of connotation such as the school’s educational philosophy, values, aesthetic orientation and so on which can be accepted, absorbed by students and transferred Into their own ideology and eventually manifests itself in certain behaviour. The physical environment will have a significant impact on the process of cognition, behaviors and emotions, attitudes, and values of students.Therefore, grasping the essence of the physical environment of primary classroom,finding existing problems and affecting factors,looking for source of problem,discovering what the educational value of educators is and whom education is serving for.It is of great significance to guide school improvement of the physical environment can achieve the purpose of environmental education and get students’ all-round development and life-long development goals.This paper discusses the understanding and mastering of the environment, teaching environment, classroom, the physical environment of classroom, and analyzes the related concepts.Besides,this paper bases on environmental psychology,potential course and "human-environment" interactions and the effect of relevant theory of learning concept of constructivist,the paper chooses an optimized process towards Professor Huisheng Tian’s Component elements of physical construction of classroom teaching environment and field observations, focused on three dimensions of the physical classroom environment:controllable natural elements,and elements of facilities and spaces.Meanwhile,this paper builds the practice path:On this basis of the physical classroom environment awareness, the extent of participation and the influence of main part of class (students and teachers).In addition,the author designs questionnaires and collects data and tries to know students’feelings of the physical environment in Grade five and six of primary school N in Changchun through data analysis and comparison.Through teacher interviews the author analyzes and induces the influencing factors on the physical environment and finally extracts educational significance of the physical environment, and makes appropriate optimized strategy.
