| The research used narrative research methods of qualitative research. Investigate mothers’feelings and experience of taking care of their autistic children, When a child is diagnosed with autism, the mother how to deal with and adaptation, and how they feel in the process? How to confront the frustrations and challenges of life? Meanwhile, the study also trying to the mothers can obtain self-healing, and re-affirmed the value of their own lives via recalling their stories. And through the sharing three autistic mothers’ life stories, allow the public to increase understanding of autism and their families, respect, care and support. Other autistic children’s parents can learn from their successful experience, and avoid detours. And to provide a reference for autism education in teaching and research.The results are as follows:from abnormal child, diagnosed, early intervention, school, adolescence, adulthood, until the child’s future, the longitudinal development process along with the changing of the mother’s mental state, this process is difficult in advance by contesting with a variety of "resistance" and "help". The researcher summarized this process as caring experience of mothers of children with autism, divided into specific acceptance, and actively respond and share period. Mothers’ inner experience is not the same for each stage, have been the beginning of loss, to coping process of complain, despair, frustration, resentment and worry, and then the last of inner peace and relieved. May also be accompanied by a positive inner experience, such as pleased, tolerance, and moved.Major "resistance" from parenting stress, schools and public rejection, Major " help " form the family members, especially the support of her husband, autism parents groups provide support and resources of empathy, and strong and optimistic personality characteristics of autism mother.At last, the researcher try to make relevant recommendations to the autistic children’s mother and family, the education sector and teachers, government policy and future research. Expecting the caring experience of mothers of children with autism can make more people understand autism, understanding children with autism, early to establish a completed and effective support system for autistic families. |
