The promulgation of the "Chinese education reform and development compendium", opened for the primary and secondary schools to "characteristics". Many primary and middle school will create features as a new path to win the competition between the primary and secondary schools. For a long time, primary and middle schools in our country present a "thousand school a good-looking" situation, schools have no characteristics, and students have no personality. This lack of homogeneity of the school, can not adapt to social progress and education development and personnel quality requirements, therefore, characteristic school construction and development, the needs of the school management reform is not only a new era, also is the school won the same industry competition and seek new development needs, is to grow and strengthen the internal needs of the school itself.Through research characteristic school development present situation at home and abroad, this paper combined with the3selected sample school field survey, through literature collection,questionnaire, interview found problems existing in the development of school characteristics, find out the cause of these problems and figure out the viable suggestions, to make the characteristic school construction smoothly and to improve teaching quality.Full-text is divided into four parts. Put forward and the significance of the first part, the problem, this paper summarizes the current research status at home and abroad, introduces theoretical basis and related concept definition. The second part, research idea, research purpose, research object, research method is introduced. The third part, with characteristic school factors point of view, presents the research of three high school characteristic school construction present situation and the corresponding analysis. The fourth part put forward policies and Suggestions on the construction of characteristic schools.
