Gifted mentally retarded students’potential development, has been of special education in our country,"blind spots" in the education is not very developed, gifted disabled students may not be able to play to their own advantages because of environmental constraints; in the open education developed today, deserves more attention, and then focus on the special education "". Research shows that, the disabled Chinese excellent were close and non disabled (3%-5%), the ratio of gifted disabled can have outstanding achievements is far lower than the gifted individuals with disabilities.This article first reviewed the relevant policies of the mentally retarded students occupation education, and then puts forward the new idea of students occupation education retarded development of gifted, gifted students with mental retardation in one or more aspects of certain vulnerable, but not all of them exist in all aspects, so the occupation education students with disabilities need more love interest, according to the characteristics of physical and mental development and their strengths, advantages, to open a special occupation education curriculum and targeted occupation education teaching content arrangement. Secondly, the implementation of the mentally retarded student occupation education of some developed provinces and cities experience was summarized, and the practical approaches to occupation education for gifted students with mental retardation are explored, and finally proposes the Guangxi special education school for gifted students with mental retardation in the implementation of occupation education.
