This study is based on the theory of communication and other related ones ofsports. According to the description of the technical and tactical characters and thebusiness value of the Barclays England Premier League, this article tries to find outthe influences of these characters and then manifests that the subjects of thebroadcasting campaign of the Premier League under the circumstance of the newmedia in China are Premier League itself and its managing and operatinginstitutions, news paper and magazine, TV, internet and mobile phone.Meanwhile itsbroadcasting strategy can be concluded as Intercultural Communication model,creating pseudo-environment and agenda setting model,which are based on theclassical theory of the communications, however, the broadcasting campaign andstrategy of the Premier League are modified because of the emerge of the new mediaand the audience have new expectation as well. The study above will explain why thePremier League could attract more attention than other football leagues globally. Inorder to study the setback of the core audience to the Premier League, the authorlaunched a survey in the famous sport website hupu and used literature, study,interview, mathematical statistics methods to analyze the assumption.
