Shandong province is one of the strong development of table tennis, conveying a large number of outstanding talents for our high level table tennis sports school in Shandong Province, as the foundation of sports talent training base, has played a huge role. In this paper, using the method of literature, questionnaire survey method in table tennis training of Shandong province17city municipal sports schools were investigated respectively, starting from the internal factors influencing its development and external factors promote the development, analysis of the characteristics of table tennis in new period, draws the following conclusion:At present the development of Municipal Sports School in our province, the favorable factors to promote its development mainly summarized as:the favorable factors of the influence factors of1, mainly in Shandong province sports, sports facilities and drive the improvement of management ability and a variety of table tennis competition and exchange development, performance:the rapid development of Shandong sports industry, not only create favorable conditions for our province’s economy, promotion of Shandong sports culture has played a catalytic role can not be ignored, to promote the Shandong province sports career stability and orderly development, also laid a favorable social environment for the sustainable development of school. In the aspect of school management, in the Shandong province region Party committee, government attention, school table tennis facilities conditions were improving, management has been strengthened, and vigorously promote the school work, and comprehensively improve the quality of running a school. School exchanges between the competition not only promote and deepen quality education, improve children’s table tennis level in our province, to discover and encourage children sports talents, to ensure the sustainable development of sports reserve talent. The main negative factors2, the influence factors of school enrollment is restricted access single; training plan, training quality is not high; the lack of scientific management, ignoring the athletes’ psychological health coaching qualifications; uneven, lack of theory and psychology of learning. Performance:the limited prospects for development of athletes, employment and the development direction is too narrow, serious impact on the athletes and parent training enthusiasm; intense competition in various business club short-term training and art classes, the school lose their favorable position in the competition; self propaganda should be strengthened, school in addition to the traditional way of publicity, the lack of effective means of its publicity. Training plan single, too much emphasis on basic skills training, or excessive pursuit of game, this is unscientific, single training will certainly affect the athlete’s training enthusiasm, makes it difficult to improve the quality of training. Part of the current school training with a strong utilitarian, in order to raise the competitive level of athletes, coaches and uncivilized performance is sometimes greatly hurt the juvenile athletes’ physical and mental health, their life, learning and training have had a great impact. Table tennis coaches in Shandong province grade school education in the middle and lower level, showed high degree is low, especially in the general sports school tennis development is weak, the lack of advanced technology research and theoretical knowledge timely supplement.
