Middle school students’ values education is a hot spot in the academia, and outstanding valueseducation resources is the foundation of middle school students’ values education implementation. Valueseducation resource is very rich in content, which contains the essence of the traditional culture of ourcountry. Confucianism is the ideological basis of traditional Chinese culture, Confucius’ thought is the corecontent of Confucianism. The main characteristic of Confucianism is "benevolence", Confucius thoughtthat posterity summarized as "benevolence"."Benevolence" is the theory basis of promising positive theoryof human nature, the theory of ritual, belongs to the category of values education. By Confucius"benevolence" in the field of education is committed to shaping the ideal personality, is committed tocultivate talents."Benevolence" thought has accumulated rich education resources and through long-termpractice of inspection, many of which still should be paid great attention in contemporary education sciencein our country. This study using literature research, historical analysis and experience summary method, toexamine from the perspective of "benevolence" of middle school students’ values education resources,analysis of "benevolence" and the logic of the contemporary middle school students’ values educationresources, explore "benevolence" of the ontological connotation of middle school students’ valueseducation resources and methodology.Middle school students’ values education resource is composed of three elements of a basic, leadingand supporting. For the contemporary middle school students’ values education, the school is the mainposition, teaching course is a core, the teacher is dominant. Middle school students’ values education realityperformance is: the marxist faith unity and national spirit, the integration of modern and traditional,coordinated resources and methods."Benevolence" is the strong support of middle school students’ valueseducation resources in our country, middle school students’ values education need to excavate excellentresources of "benevolence" thought. On the one hand,"benevolence" is present in the middle schoolstudents’ values education resources, and has important practical significance.
