| The study selects35children aged from five to six in one kindergarten’s upper class in Nanjing as the research objects. Through the collection of painting works entitled "the kindergarten which I love", as well as interviews for the painting, children’s understanding of the kindergarten and ideal kindergarten in children’s heart are displayed and analyzed in the two main aspects of "kindergartens in my eyes" and "kindergartens which I love". In the part of "kindergartens in my eyes", the researcher displays and analyzes children’s understanding of the kindergarten in these aspects of the distinctions among the kindergarten, the primary school, and the family, kindergarten’s value, kindergarten’s image and so on. In the part of "kindergartens which I love", the researcher displays and analyzes ideal kindergarten in children’s heart in these aspects of kindergarten’s name, kindergarten’s environment, kindergarten’s subject, kindergarten’s activity and so on. Then, the researcher summarizes, discusses and analyzes the five outstanding problems of this study on the basis of the research results, namely,"The kindergartens which children love have no teachers","The concept of ’having classes’ still exists","The national flag has the special meaning for the children","The children like autonomous activities and peer interaction in the kindergarten","The children like the kindergarten in nature". At the same time, the researcher advocates that respect the kindergarten which children love; construct the kindergarten which children love; the kindergarten education is the overall care for children’s growth. At the end of the study, the researcher reflects the research methods, this research paper writing and the follow-up study. |
