Part-time counselor has become an important force in our college students’ ideological and political work. The team’s influence is growing with the high-quality talent. Domestic colleges and universities, however, generally do not pay enough attention to the part-time counselors, and particularly lack a scientific, comprehensive performance appraisal system. This paper is based on reality and combined with the work experience. It studies the current situation of the national college part-time counselor, points out its shortcomings, and designs a new performance appraisal system for part-time counselor with the scientific methods.First of all, this paper analyzes the role orientation of part-time counselor, describes the various difficulties faced by the part-time counselor, and proposes suggestions on improving part-time counselors’ work efficiency. Comprehensively discusses the basic theory of performance appraisal including the concepts, objectives and methods of performance appraisal.Secondly, with the actual situation of Nanchang University, we analyze the current situation of the counselors, the counselor performance appraisal system and the problems of the system.What’s more, based on the differences between part-time counselors and full-time counselors, we design a new, scientific and efficient performance appraisal system according to the principles and methods.The new evaluation system is more scientific, objective and fair. According to the feature of Nanchang University, it differs from the original non-discriminatory counselor performance appraisal system, focuses on the improvement of future performance, and has active significance on promoting the team building of part-time counselor. |
