Now,many colleges and universities have developed performance evaluation regulations and measures of implementation for counselors who are mainly to do ideological and political education on students.The existence of such regulations and measures makes counselors responsibilities clearer and more specific,makes management for counselors more standardized and scientific and makes evaluation more operable.However,performance evaluation and quantitative management originate from ideas of companies' management.Companies' targets are for profits and can apply quantitative performance evaluation whereas colleges aim to educate students and nurture talents for society.Thus,it seems unreasonable to use quantitative performance evaluation to assess counselors,whose work is to educate and manage students.Since January,2012,Suqian college has planed to develop into an private undergraduate college.In May,2014,Ministry of Education has approved Suqian College to be an tier-3 private undergraduate college.Because of that,its enrollment system has been going through the process of tier-3 undergraduate college,tier-2 undergraduate college and tier-3 again.That brings great challenge to student management and education work.There are following problems in counselor evaluation and management in Suqian College.These problems have become barriers to the development of counselor-team and and result in its insatiability,which in turn bring negative effects on the morality and education work,low work efficiency,low professional level and improper service attitudes.These hinder the construction of specialized,professionalized and expertized counselor-team and the college development as well.The thesis analyzes characteristics of Suqian College counselor-teams and its current performance evaluation system and use key performance index evaluation method to analyze its key performance index.360 degree evaluation method is used to assess performance,obtain performance feedback and improve performance,so as to perfect performance evaluation system and pose importance influence on the Suqian College development.
