The Research Of Psychological Contract Of Teachers In Secondary Vocational Schools And Its Management Strategies

There exists not only a formal contract (such as contract) but also an implicit, unclear psychological contract among the organizational relationships. It reflects a kind of tacit understanding between the organization and employees. The research on psychological contract in secondary vocational school management contributes to expand the scope of the psychological contract, and provides an effective way to improve the management of the teachers in secondary vocational schools. This paper adopted the methods of literature study, interview and investigation, and also made questionnaire on "Research of secondary school teachers’psychological contract" to conduct the empirical research of teachers’ psychological contract. The study showed that there was a significant difference in different stages of teachers’career development in the vocational school. This paper put forward five basic principles of psychological contract management of secondary vocational school teachers based on the analysis of influencing factors on psychological contract. They were principles of mutual expectation, mutual trust, communication, mutual care, and mutual development. This paper stated how to improve the management of psychological contract of teachers in two aspects:one was the school, it should have concept of students oriented, trying to establish excellent organizational culture, and made incentive rules to constantly improve the management in different career stages of teachers in secondary vocational schools; secondly, from the teacher’s point of view, teachers should form right values and morality of their occupation, paid more attention to the school and students, enhanced own learning ability, strengthened self management on innovation consciousness.
