Quality education replaced exam education, become the goal of curriculum reform underthe background of new curriculum reform. Quality education required all-round developmentof students about their body and mind, students were not only required to learn scientific andcultural knowledge, their psychological quality were also required to be improved. Accordingto the research, students’ psychological problems were not optimistic in China, the proportionof serious psychological problems and minor psychological problems of students were toohigh. students’ social adaptation ability was poor, adversity quotient was low, the resilience ofpsychology was weak. Therefore, it is very urgent to strengthen the mental health education inthe teaching. History is a discipline which has closely relation with sociology, politicalscience, economics, etc., it is also vital in the formation of students’ world outlook, outlook onlife and modern personality. Putting psychology and historical education into together, cannot only improve students’ psychological health, but also help students to improve historygrade. According to cognitive psychology, the knowledge was absorbed by students when thenew information was accord with students’ psychological condition and gained acceptance bythe students’ mental. Keeping healthy state of mind, helps students to learn culturalknowledge better. This paper studied the present situation of middle school students’ mentalproblems and the psychological differences between the student groups, it proposed that thepsychological education should be carried out according to the student class’s and grade’spsychological tendency. In the study of history and psychology integrated teaching, we analyzed the current problems in the mental health and history integration teaching, summedup several indicators that should be focused on about the middle school students’ mentalquality in current situation, including modern personality, adversity quotient, etc. Modernpersonality plays an important role in the middle school students psychological self recovery,it should be strengthened firstly in teaching. In the study of psychological health and historyintegrated teaching method, this article gived some countermeasures in interactive teachingand the typical case teaching method, and in the case study, we designed a relevant teachingplan using the mental health and history integrated teaching methold.
