A Study On The Status And Relationship Of Mental Health, Personality And Mental Capital Of Secondary Vocational School Students In Chuxiong Vocational Education

The study selected496secondary vocational students in the ChuXiong vocationaleducation park from different grades, different genders, different majors, differentcensus register, the only child and non-only child, and the han nationality andminority as a sample, wim symptom check list一90(SCL·90), Eysenck personalityquestionnaire Short Scale for Chinese(EPQ-RSC)and positive psychological capitalquestionnaire(PPQ), and discussed the relationship among mental health，personalitycharacteristics and psychological capital of secondary vocational students inChuXiong vocational education park．The findings are showed as the following：1. In grade aspect, the mental health of secondary vocational students inChuXiong vocational education park shows that the first-year students are higher thanthe second-year and the third-year students in somzatization, obsessive compulsivesymptom, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, horror, paranoid ideation andpsychoticism. In gender aspect，the females are higher than males in somzatization,obsessive compulsive symptom, interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety and phobiaanxiety．The males are higher than females in depression. In specialized aspect，hydropower and mechanical assembly and maintenance Majors in somatization,hostility, interpersonal sensitivity, and psychotic symptoms were less than otherprofessionals, only higher than other students in terms of anxiety. In nationality aspect,the minority students are higher than the han nationality students in antagonism andhorror, there was no significant difference between other dimensions. There was nosignificant difference between whether the one-child and census register.2. In specialized aspect, the personality characteristics of secondary vocationalstudents in ChuXiong vocational education park show that the third-year students areobviously higher than others in extroversion. In gender aspect, the males are higherthan females in psychoticism and mask. In specialized aspect, biomedicine studentsand agronomy students are lower than others in extroversion. In census registeraspect, the rural students are higher than the urban students in mask. In the nationalityand whether the one-child aspect, the personality characteristics was no significantdifference of secondary vocational students in ChuXiong vocational education park.3. In grade aspect, the psychological capital of secondary vocational students inChuXiong vocational education park show that the third-year students are higher thanothers in self-efficacy, tenacity, hope and optimism. In gender aspect, tmales’self-efficacy, optimism was significantly higher than females.In specialized aspect,Hydropower and mechanical assembly and maintenance class professionalself-efficacy and optimism were significantly higher than the other dimensions ofprofessional. In whether the one-child, nationality and census register aspects, therewas no significant difference in the four dimensionality in the psychological capital.4. Extroversion dimension and mask dimension of the personality characteristicshave widely and significantly negative correlation with each dimension and total score of secondary vocational student’s psychological health in ChuXiongvocational education park, but psychoticism(P) dimension andnervousness(N)dimension of the personality characteristics have widely andsignificantly positive correlation with that.Self-efficacy dimension, hope dimension and optimism dimension have widelyand significantly negative correlation with each dimension of the psychologicalcapital and total score of secondary vocational student’s psychological health inChuXiong vocational education park, but tenacity dimension of the psychologicalcapital have widely and indistinctively positive correlation with that.Psychoticism(P) dimension and nervousness(N)dimension of the personalitycharacteristics of secondary vocational student’s psychological health in ChuXiongvocational education park have significantly widely and negative correlation witheach dimension of the psychological capital, but extroversion dimension and maskdimension have widely and significantly optimism correlation with that.
