Due to the urbanization process in China, the rural labor force is transferred. The pattern that rurallabor force is dominated by rural women is formed.At present, the rural women account for the60percent of the rural labor. They are playing a more andmore important role in the agricultural industry and the new socialist countryside construction. However,the overall quality of the rural women has become a major restraining factor of the “Three Rural Issues”.This thesis adopts several research methods, such as literature method, investigation method, andexperimental method. Based on the rural women’s living condition, this thesis does the further study on theeducational demand of rural women, looking forward to activating and meeting the rural women’s demanddirectly, improving the overall quality of rural women and promoting the agricultural industry and the newsocialist countryside construction.This thesis consists of six parts:Part1: Introduction. The origin of the study is presented. The core conceptions are defined. Theexisting literature is combed. The research and designs are made.Part2: The rural women’s living conditions are described. According to the political life, cultural lifeand economic life of the target groups, the paper describes their living conditions, thus providing therealistic background for the research of educational demand.Part3: The research of rural women’s educational demand is made. According to the content andmode of education, this thesis draws a conclusion: what the rural women need most is the improvement ofcareer skills, family living standards, and personal qualities. Their favorite mode of education is informaltraining.Part4: The problems and the causes of rural women’s educational demand. On the basis of theanalysis, this thesis finds that the rural women’s educational demand is objective but not vigorous. Thereare some reasons. First, the social environment constrains the educational demand. Second, the womenhave less enthusiasm of education for their own reasons. Third, the economic environment Lead to thelimited training investment. Forth, the result of the training is bad. Part5: According to the experience of teaching on demand aimed at rural women, this thesis choosesPenyao Community, Chengguan town, Lankao County as an example, obtaining the preliminary experienceof activating the educational demand of rural women.Part6: The comprehensive imagination of activating and satisfying rural women’s educational demand.According to the study above, this thesis puts forward the suggestions of paying attention to the positionand right of peasants as the main part of being educated, taking the capacity building as the core of the ruralwomen’s educational training, actively enriching the teaching-staff of rural women’s educational trainingand mixing the formal education and the informal education together.
