Golf, known as an exotic sport, is universally acknowledged as one of the Three Noble Sports throughout the world because of its rich culture and athletic charm. Up to now it has enjoyed tremendous popularity among people. With the rapid development of the society and constant rising of people’s living standard, golf has shown enormous potentials and made itself an influential newly developing industry, which is of vital importance for both economic and cultural development.Under the guidance of new curriculum standard and quality-oriented education, physical education in primary and secondary schools has developed more rapidly since the1990s. As the international educational reforms take place, quality-oriented education has widely launched all around the nation, particularly, in primary and secondary schools, setting an inexorable trend of educational reform. What’s more, it aims to get students to be prepared for the society, to learn to conduct oneself, build up their body and eventually to learn to survive. It is commonly believed that physical education is a breakthrough to quality-oriented education.As the forefront of the reform and open policy, Shenzhen has been consistently in the research of the implementation of education reform. Especially it has improved a great pace at primary and secondary school-based curriculum, not only for physics, biology and chemistry, but also for the Chinese language, mathematics and English and the sports and arts courses, they all have various degrees of expand efforts. We develop resources of the physical education curriculum content, we also sec the enriching of the PE Curriculum content as a basic task. It’s easy to find out that with the continuous social development, more and more emerging sports are approved and accepted by the majority of primary and secondary school students. A variety of new and interesting adaptable PE curriculum content resources is coming into our PE courses, and it is consistently enriching and expanding die range on the original base of the PE courses content, and step by step go into the shape of the PE courses system which has a Chinese characteristic. The broadened PE courses content can provide the students with a wider space to choose their types of study and to develop their characters, and it can also lay a foundation of the implementation of the quality education and improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the physical education curriculum. But according to the actual survey and visits, the golf is restricted by venue, faculty, equipment resources, and many other reasons. So I’m going to start the feasibility study by the way of school-based curriculum.
