Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Golf In Yunnan Province

Golf is a healthy, ancient and challenging sport, which also isan outdoor sport of elegant, friendship, health, civilization for the brave, wise andbenevolent people. With the change of the people’s consumption consciousness andthe increasing leisure time, the proportion of people who participate in the golf isgrowing. At the same time, a great number of the constructions of golf courses arealso increasing in China. The development situation of golf in YunNan province ismore advanced in China from survey, which currently has the number of listed thesixth place compared with other provinces. In this paper, it will prove that as theimproving economy and rapid development of tourism, golf-related industries willhave greater growth.In this paper, based on golf development present situation and countermeasuresof YunNan province as the research object, using the method of documentary, expertinterview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and otherresearch methods, the present situation of golf development in YunNan province isstudied. According to the research can be seen that in YunNan province golf aftermore than ten years of development, now has24standard golf course and a dozengolf driving range, number ranked sixth in the national stadium. Furthermore, suchas moderate climates, special regional features, tourism features and ethnic culturaldifferences are exit in YunNan province, which conduced to form different styles ofgolf courses. There is a great number of golf enthusiasts in YunNan provincebecause of they can be golf all year round. From this thesis, it also can be found thatconsumption price of golf driving range sports is moderate. The consumers tend tobe engaged in sports in weekends and holidays by do card spending. Most of thedriving range area is not large, some in the residential area or in the hotel, thegeographical position relatively close from downtown. The transportation of golfdriving range sports are convenient for consumers, which is conducive to participatein sports activity. Import of equipment has a great proportion in the golf courseconfiguration equipment. Domestic equipment proportion is relatively small. Theprivate golf courses are the overwhelmingly dominant form of the operation natureof golf course. There are five colleges and universities to set up the golf courses inYunNan, including YunNan sports vocational and technical schools, Red River college, QuJing Normal college, Dali college and LiJiang tourism institute. Thenumber of golf professional school students on average is more than100people.In yunnan province,49%of people choose to participate in the golf in drivingrange of motion, and35%of people choose exercise in the standard stadium,38%ofthe people involved in this project is for the sake of interpersonal communication,others for the sake of personal interests and fitness. For40%of the people whoinvolved in the movement are most concerned about the consumer prices, the secondis to consider the environment and service, only10%of people consider the traffic isconvenient or not, the rest of them in the case of field equipment completely doesnot consider. It also shows that most participators average is doing golf twice eachmonth, each time concentrated in more than2hours. Most of participators are themember of club organization, only relatively few involved in the regulation game.Most of the population of golf players is concentrated in middle age, followed byyouth adults, young teenagers participation was third in YunNan. It is evidence thatgolf sports atmosphere is good in YunNan province. With the improvement ofeconomic level,the number of new generation participators are also graduallyincrease, it has played a good role to promote the development of the province golf.In order to more clearly understand the present development situation of thegolf in YunNan province, this paper through the analysis of golf specific actualconditions in order to explore a better development path of it. According to thenational policy rules and the actual situation of golf development in YunNanprovince, this study discusses the demand of consumers and put forward rationalsuggestion. Firstly, formulate corresponding golf industry related laws andregulations; Secondly, decreasing the standard of golf sports consumption to developthe public stadium; Thirdly, increasing the number of golf driving range and minigolf course; Fourthly, improving the comprehensive quality of golf relatedprofessionals. Fifthly, developing golf course development cooperation projects withthe club.
