In2001, China adopted the reform of the basic education curriculum, the newcurriculum emphasizes inquiry teaching as an important way of teaching. The newcurriculum for more than ten years, the theoretical studies of scientific inquiry teachingmode has a very mature, and many of the teachers’ classroom practice for scientific inquiryteaching mode yielded some results. However, truly carry out scientific inquiry teachingpractice of teachers is not satisfactory. In order to improve the quality of the teaching ofscientific inquiry, I conducted a survey, the implementation of scientific inquiry teachingmode in order to find a more effective teaching strategies for the teaching of scientificinquiry.In this paper, the use of literature analysis, questionnaire, classroom observation study,mainly consists of five parts:The introduction, mainly on the background and significance of the question;elaboration of research questions and specific research ideas and methods.Research Overview section introduces the definition and elements of scientific inquiry;build and significance of scientific inquiry teaching mode.Survey part survey of scientific inquiry carried out in the first-line teaching research,the main purpose is to understand teachers’ awareness and perceptions of scientific inquiry,the current situation of the implementation of scientific inquiry model, the impact of toexplore teaching undertaken factors to find out the scientific inquiry teaching modeimplementation.Case Studies section, find the corresponding countermeasures to solve these problemsfor the problems reflected in the questionnaire, in a quality lesson.Conclusion, summed up the problems of scientific inquiry teaching mode in theimplementation process, and the effective implementation of strategies for the teaching ofscientific inquiry.In order to make scientific inquiry teaching more long-term development, teachersshould strengthen its own expertise and teaching knowledge learning, only a realunderstanding of scientific inquiry teaching, and improve their teaching skills to play animportant role in scientific inquiry teaching.
