The Applied Research University’s Idelogical And Political Education About Psychological Consult Way

As a method of modern ideological and political education that is rather distinctwith those common teaching methods used in modern ideological and politicaleducation, psychological consultation is often used by teachers in practice of modernideological and political education to help students handle their mental problems.Giving the complicatedness and changeableness of the modern society, students will beinevitably affected by abrupt and unexpected changes in their life (social, family orpersonal ones),which may cause serious mental disorder or mental handicap to them.Giving the situation, in addition to common methods, we have to based on commonprinciples of educational psychology and fundamental theories of ideological andpolitical education, explore how to apply psychological consultation in practice ofideological and political education. Undoubtedly, it will greatly improve theeffectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities andmake it more timing and to the point. Around this goal, we make a systematic andhierarchical analysis on psychological consultation and its application in ideological andpolitical education in colleges and universities. At first, we make a theoreticalpresentation on its concept and characteristics. Then we make an analysis on thenecessary and feasibility of its application in ideological and political education. At last,we consequently give our suggestion on how to evaluate its effectiveness in practice andhow to apply it in practice. The paper are organized in three sections as follows:Section1: Here several definitions concerning psychological consultation inideological and political education are given here，in this section， we make a roughreview over the history of the development of psychological consultation in ideologicaland political education starting from the education methodology system in modernideological and political education.Section2: In this section Necessity and feasibility of the application of psychologicalconsultation in ideological and political education. Besides is analyzed. The analysis ofnecessity is mainly based on studying the special social environment，the developinghistory of ideological and political education and the teaching practice of ideologicaland political theory and that of feasibility is mainly based on studying the unity，timeliness and scientific of ideological and political education and psychologicalconsultation.Section3: Based on the former study，in this section we mainly discuss how toapply psychological consultation to university’s ideological and political education and how to evaluate the effect of suchapplications.
