Laws of science can be divided into empirical laws and the theory of the laws based ondifferent levels of understanding. After the new curriculum reform of chemistry teachingcontent, both empirical laws and the theory of the laws of a large position in chemistryteaching. Helping students to learn these two types of laws is an important issue. This paperfirst describes the differences and connections between empirical laws and the theory of thelaws. As a typical, Le Chatelier principle and the chemical reaction isotherm reflect thecharacteristics of empirical laws and the theory of the laws.In this paper, by tracing the formation and background of the two kind of laws process,we summarize the methods and ideas that summed up the significance of the theory of theformation of its characteristics,. Get the disciplinary thinking of these two kind of laws.Through the analysis of teaching content of chemical equilibrium before and after the newcurriculum,It is concluded that the content of chemical equilibrium after the new curriculumreform is more inclined to chemical thermodynamics thinking. And we carry out theteaching design according to this way of thinkingļ¼ŒAs an example to to put forwardsuggestions for two kinds of laws teaching and studing.
