Currently, our country energetically advocates a close communication between secondary vocational education and industrial enterprises, for training the technical talents required by modern industrial enterprises. However, at the present, most corporations between colleges and enterprises haven’t got an ideal result-the win-win cooperation. So researches for the cooperations between colleges and enterprises become a hot point and rub for current development of secondary vocational education in our country. This paper deeply analyzes the cooperation between colleges and enterprises by document analysis and research methodology. And it also tries to use the economic man hypothesis quoted from Adam Smith and the theory of moral sentiments to analyze the communicating problem of "for education"and "for profit" in each subject of cooperations between colleges and enterprises, so as to find the gulf between "for education" and "for profit", and put forward an idea for bridging this gulf. The main contents of this paper are listed as follows:the introduction of the research background, the current research situation at home and abroad, the research method and the theoretical basis in the first chapter-Introduction; the analysis of "for profit" subject in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, referring to the study about the "for profit" of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial associations, vocational high school, vocational high school students in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises in the second chapter; the analysis of "for education"subject in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, referring to the study about the "for education" of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial associations, vocational high school, vocational high school students in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises in the third chapter; the realistic obstacles, the relationship between "for profit" of enterprises and "for education" of colleges, and the detailed analysis of their relationship in the fourth chapter; in the fifth part, the gulf between "for education" and "for profit" in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, aiming at analyzing the existing gulf for the small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial associations, vocational high school, vocational high school students in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises; the last part bridging the gulf between "for education"and "for profif" and trying to put forward suggestions for bridging this gulf. After analyzing "for education" and "for profit" of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial associations, vocational high school, vocational high school students in the corporation between colleges and enterprises, this paper holds an opinion that the gulf in the cooperation between colleges and enterprises is an ignorance of the the egoism for all the subjects in this cooperation, and is also a lack of safeguard mechanisms for all the interests, fair exchange rules and a specified contract between all the subjects as well. In order to bridge this gulf, three "hands":"the visible hand"-egoism,"the invisible hand"-government power and "the moral hand"-social responsibility, can show their significant regulations. And it is also necessary to face the egoism of subjects in cooperation between colleges and enterprises, to set up the safeguard mechanisms for protecting all the interests, to make the fair exchange rules, to reach the specified contract, to strength the subject’s social responsibility, and to insure the sustainable development of the cooperation between colleges and enterprises.
