Urban migrant workers sub-special groups in our city, this special group ofmental health problems can not be ignored, concerned about the children of sub-urbanmigrant workers social cognition and self-development is concerned about the mentalhealth problems of the urban children of migrant workersa good channel. Orff musicteaching as a line of children’s physical, psychological law of development, hasenhanced role to promote the development of children’s self-perception, socialadaptability. In this paper, an empirical study of urban children of migrant workersthrough the Orff music teaching experiment of self and social cognition. This articleexperimental results show that:1,Experimental class students before the self-perception test and post the totalscore difference is significant.,2,Experimental class students in the self-evaluation score no obvious significant,pre-test and post-test significant differences in self-affirmation, self-denial aspects ofthe pre-test and post-test is significant.3,Experimental class students to adapt to the total score there was no significantpre-test and post-test significant adaptation in social life. Significant academicadjustment before the test and post.4,Non-child before the Orff music teaching, than the one-child self-affirmationlower Orff music teaching, have been significantly improved.5,Significant interaction between gender and intervention activities in theacademic adjustment, academic adjustment scores of girls have been significantlyimproved after Orff music teaching.Orff music teaching experimental intervention on children of migrant workers inurban self-awareness, self-affirmation, the adaptation has been more obvious topromote, but self-denial with higher scores in emotional adjustment, academic adaptto the development of two aspects is not obvious.
