| Colleges and universities undertake the mission of cultivating talents, promotingscience, technology and social progress. Due to its special function and mission in oursociety, high school teachers have gained its unique social status, thus becoming thekey to fulfilling its mission. With the development of our society and the further anddeeper reform of the educational system, high school teachers are confronted withmany challenges and under great pressure, causing a series of psychological problemsamong them. These problems have aroused strong public response, making the mentalhealth of high school teachers the centre of our attention. If not appropriately copedwith, psychological crisis of high school teachers may seriously hinder the reform anddevelopment of higher education.This article puts psychological crisis of high school teachers as its research subject,examining its unique qualities and drawing conclusions of effective measures andintervention from psychological standpoint, analyzing the special characteristics ofhigh school teachers to find our particularity of its psychological crisis. The articleintroduces the different manifestations of the crisis and find out the causes byanalyzing the internal and external causes of the crisis. Based on the existing studies,the paper summarizes the intervention management measures by probing into thenecessity and principle of psychology crisis intervention, thoroughly discussing thesystem of external aid and inner help of intervention, which has greatly reduced thenegative influences of psychology crisis of high school teachers upon higher educationof China and guarantees the healthy development of our education. The innovation and originality of the thesis is that this paper demonstrates theunique characteristics of the psychological crisis of high school teachers by analyzingthe special qualities of them, laying the foundation of crisis intervention. In addition,this article discusses the intervention systems of external aid, inner help and it alsotalks about the principle of intervention, which can serve as an example and referencein the practice of crisis intervention. |
