Study On The Degree Of City Integration Of The Muslim Floating Population

This study on the theory of ethnology and sociology, to Muslim floatingpopulation of zhengzhou city as the research object, through in-depth interviews,participant observation, questionnaire survey research methods access to a largenumber of first-hand information.The article selected the economy and personal behavior, cultural acceptance,social security, psychological identity, five dimensions as inspection standard, andanalysis of muslims living in the city of zhengzhou flow status and the difficulties andproblems encountered in the process of into the city. Through the analysis of surveydata, the author found that Muslim floating population of zhengzhou city’s Muslimpopulation is mostly young adults from qinghai and gansu, mainly of hui, salar,married men, mostly engaged in the catering industry and cultural level is generally0low. Due to the special habits and customs, religious beliefs, and on the one hand,increasing the difficulty of them into the city, but also to some extent, provides themwith a unique business model and social network. Their existence, for the city added aunique ethnic customs, but also to the prosperity of the urban economy played animportant role.Muslim floating population of zhengzhou in income level, social managementsystem, social interaction and so on basic integrated into urban life, but their life is noteasy.In the process of integration encountered some difficulties, mainly manifested inthe shortage of housing, their children to school difficulties as well as social securityand public services enjoyed rate and other issues. Due to low literacy levels, lack ofvocational skills as well as the cultural differences between urban and rural areas ofmissing for hometown and alienation of the city, in the process of into the city had alot of resistance.Finally, the author on the basis of comprehensive analysis, proposed such as helpimprove their quality of Muslim migrants, strengthen the construction of nationalreligious groups, respect for Muslim lifestyle solve the Muslim current population ofthe city into the plight of the ways and means.
