Research On Urban Integration Of Floating Population In Lanzhou City In The Age Of Social Media

This article takes the floating population of the L community as the research object,using questionnaires,interviews and participatory observation methods to study the impact of the urban integration of the floating population in the L community of Lanzhou in the social media era.The study found: First,overall,the social integration of the floating population in the L community of Lanzhou City in the social media era is better.Second,the use of social media has a certain impact on urban integration in language use,economic life,interpersonal communication,identity,and psychological perception.Social media is like a double-edged sword.For example,it has improved the ability of Putonghua to use Putonghua and literacy to a certain extent,increased its income level,expanded its interpersonal relationship circle,increased its employment opportunities,and accumulated social capital.,Promote their transition to citizenship,release bad emotions,etc.,which helps promote the urban integration of the floating population in the L community.However,to a certain extent,it makes it difficult for the floating population of the L community to distinguish the true and false of the city information,and the situation of "tribal" information scrolling and the fragile virtual space relationship are broken,which has hindered its urban integration.Studying the urban integration of floating population in the L community of Lanzhou City in the social media era will help to understand the survival and development of the floating population in the city,thereby promoting its better integration into urban life.
