With the continuous development of China’s economy in recent decades, thecontinuous improvement of China’s international status, more and more people beganto get close to China, learning Chinese craze wave after wave. The ConfuciusInstitute and its subsidiaries Confucius Classroom as important an area of theinternational promotion of Chinese overseas, undertakes the important mission ofteaching foreigners Chinese and promote traditional Chinese culture. Fromassociation between Kyrgyzstan and China, the friendship of this two countrybecome deepen, the communication and cooperation in the field such as economypolitics and culture become better with each passing day. The place of Chinese inKyrgyzstan is going up. Nearly, the current situation which shows the performance ofteaching Chinese has important value and significance for research.This study is based on my teaching experiences in the69th Middle School ofBishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The method of using site observations and questionnaires, Imainly studied the Chinese language learners, Chinese teachers, textbooks, coursearrangement, teaching languages and teaching methods. This dissertation analysesthe status of Chinese teaching activities, reveals the existing problems, discusses thesubjective factors and objective ones which influence the local Chinese teachingactivities, and presents some advices.This introduction part mainly includes the background, research purposes andsignificance, research status, research approaches, objects and methods. In chaptertwo, I mainly study the status of Chinese teaching activities in the69thMiddle Schoolof Bishkek. In chapter three, the existing problems and influencing factors inschool’s Chinese teaching activities and revealed. In chapter four, I present someadvices for the existing problems. While in the conclusion, I make a summary andpoint out the shortages and my striving direction.
