Social Work’s Intervention On Salvation Management Of Street Children

At present, our country is in transition, the scale population of stray is larger andlarger, which cause increasing homeless people. Our government is trying their best tosolve such social problem that how to help street children effectively to return homeand return society. As the disadvantaged part of the whole homeless people, streetchildren not only have something in common with the whole group, but also havetheir own causes and influencing factors. The phenomenon of street children is atough problem which has its special characteristics. If it can not be solved effectively,the family’s functions and social functions of children will not be developed normally,even it may resort to lots of serious social derivative problems. This paper is based onsome representative street children as cases showing, Rescue and ManagementStation in T City. The writer analyzes the reasons of children to choose to wander andthe characteristics of their psychology and behavior, and also show the services ofcase work. At the last of the paper, the writer put forward some own understandingsand thoughts, expecting to provide some useful suggestions and solutions for streetchildren.
