| The new high school curriculum innovation is one of the most influential andpropounding innovations since the new China was founded. But for the noviceteachers, who are the main participants to carry out the new curriculum innovation,whether they are willing to accept the course designer’s intent, whether or not toaccept the philosophy of the new curriculum, is directly related to the implementationof new curriculum.In consequence, it does make a difference for carrying out the newcurriculum innovation to know about the present conditions how the novice teachersidentify the new curriculum innovation and solve the problems effectively. Thisstudy researches a high school math novice teacher in-depth on the receptivity of thenew mathematics curriculum through interviews and observation.The researcher uses the form of open interviews to understand the basic attitudeof the novice teacher on the new math curriculum of high school. And the researcheruses half-closed interviews research the receptivity of the novice teacher on the newhigh school math curriculum courses from course objectives, course content,implementation of curriculum, as well as the novice teacher explain their personalbehavior. Then observation is used to observe the teachers’ behavior. Finally,combining descriptive observation and interviews, the researcher tests the noviceteachers agreed that the concept of whether it can be implemented.The conclusions of this paper are as follows: High school math novice teachers,receptivity is different to the concepts of the new curriculum. They agree with thefollowing concepts: Helping students lay a solid foundation and develop capacity.Improving the way of teaching and learning, so that students motivated to learn.Proper using of modern information technology to improve the quality ofteaching.The concepts of the new curriculum that are approved by high school mathnovice teachers will not necessarily be implemented. The main factors of affectinghigh school mathematics curriculum novice teachers,receptivity are theprofessionalism of teachers and workload.Three suggestions will be given based on the above conclusions. First, teachersshould strengthen their self-cultivation. In addition, they should improve the level of technical ability and theoretical quality. Second, in order to promote implementationof ideas of the new curriculum, teachers should be organized to have the effectivelydiscussing and researching activities. Third, at the national level should reform theevaluation system, and promote the overall development of students. |
