A Study On The Effect Of Unfair Education On The Rural Economy

Since last century, the American economist, Theodore Schultz, put forward the huge role that the human capital to the economic development, education and human capital’s role on the economic will continue to be proofed. After the founding of the PRC, our country also attaches great importance to the development of education, so education has made tremendous achievements. But in recent years, our country’s education equity issues in the development is highlighted, especially in city and rural, education unfair is more prominent, has become the biggest problem of education. The backwardness of education have seriously hindered the level of farmer’s income increase, hinders the development of rural economy. This text sets out from our country’s current situation between the urban and rural’s education, studied the education time’s role on the agricultural income of the farmer and the off-farm income, summarizes the education’s unfair has an effect on the urban and rural’s income gap. This paper also explores the reason that causes the education unfair between urban and rural, thus giving the proposal to raise the level of rural education.
