In this paper, cluster sampling is applied to four-class students in Grade Two of WuhanShipai Ridge Vocational Senior High School, in order to measure the indexes of theirresilience. Through the analysis of data, the writer finds that the group score of resilienceis below3.0level, which can be perceived as a relatively low standard. According tospecific performance, the external protective factors which consist of parental/scholasticexpectation as well as solicitude are expected to enhance. Meanwhile, as for internalprotective factors, exponents need to be improved on individual self-efficacy andoptimistic sense. In the face of adversity, the students tend to cope with it by means ofnegative mentality. In terms of the problems above, assisted by domestic and foreigntheories and practices, the writer takes the actual needs and characteristics of vocationalstudents into account. Consequently, the theme activity of Gelivable youth, colourfulsuccess· is planned to enhance resilience, including general resilience capability of theconstruction of communication, cooperation, friendship and conflict; individual resistingtraits of the construction regarding self identity, solution ability, confidence, care andrelationship between genders. At the same time, the growth sky· experience which givespractical suggestions on family and school is learnt from Hong Kong related institutions.The theme activity aims to be carried out by the main form of group activity. As a result ofthis activity, members of the group have obtained an energetic growth including mutualconcern, encouragement and support whilst sense of identity and confidence has beenimproved to some extent, that is to say the resilience has been enhanced obviously.Integrating the whole research, the author comes to the following conclusions: Firstly, it isstill weak within secondary vocational students’ resilience; secondly, students need toenhance their resistance starting from the internal and external protective factors; thirdly,the cultural cultivation is of great importance for students; finally, it is a training processfor fostering resilience.
