Skating and skiing sports education have become an important part of sports education incolleges in Northeast China, including Heilongjiang,Jilin,Liaoning, where the vast plains,surrounded by mountains and waters, extend and winter is long and cold. School skating andskiing sports campaign are conducive to improving students’ physical health and socialadaptability etc. Therefore, how to train students and enhance their physical health havebecome the primary work of skating and skiing sports teaching in Northeast and also theinevitable trend of ice-snow sports education to adapt to the current social development.Northeastern colleges with Shenyang Institute of Physical Education Jilin Institute of PhysicalEducation and Harbin Institute of Physical Education as representatives (hereinafter referredas three Northeastern professional sports colleges) are more concerned with skating and skiingprograms. Due to the different conditions of running institutions, teacher qualifications, fieldand facilities etc., however, the present teaching situation of three colleges is not exactly thesame, yet has different emphases.This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of ice-snow sportsundergraduate teaching of three Northeastern sports colleges by the method of literature,comparative studies, expert interviews, questionnaires to find similarities and differences andadvantages and disadvantages, thereby complementing each other perfectly. And I expect thatthis research can contribute to the improvement of ice-snow sports education, schools’ sportswork, the sustainable development of China’s ice-snow sports as well as the enrichment ofwinter sports cultural content. Conclusions and recommendations are as follows:1. In addition to the Shenyang Institute of Physical Education, Harbin Institute ofPhysical and Jilin Institute of Physical Education were specifically set up educationalinstitutions Skating and skiing sports direction of movement, and Shenyang Institute ofPhysical yet to Skating and skiing sports detached from the athletic training profession, shouldlearn from the Harbin Institute of Physical and Jilin Institute of Physical Education set thedirection of movement of the Skating and skiing sports teaching institutions, pulled from theSkating and skiing sports athletic training profession, to build an independent Skating andskiing sports training system.2. Skating and skiing sports curriculum teachers, teachers in the academic point of view, Harbin Institute of Physical Education graduate degrees accounted for50total number ofteachers do not meet the "Opinions" in the teacher’s request does not meet the school’sdevelopment trend of college. Schools should be teaching, discipline long-term developmentneeds of teachers rational, scientific, comprehensive planning.3. Northeast three professional schools Skating and skiing sports undergraduate teachingcurriculum goals direction of movement can keep up with the professional training goals, butteachers in the actual teaching of students ability to innovate, social adaptability and ability toguide the implementation of the goals of the community is not ideal, to be further improved.4. Lack of the scientific evaluation system. The evaluation methods of establishing theorytest database, avoiding teacher’s self-assessment and independent proposition should beadopted. Colleges should try their best to use collective forms of assessment, the evaluation ofpumping examination papers from test database or exchange propositions with fraternalcolleges.5. In addition to the Harbin Institute Of Physical Education, teaching site resources snowsports courses in Shenyang Sport University and Jilin Institute of Physical Education, Venuesand equipment being inadequate. Standard venue is relatively few and colleges have no skiingvenue for themselves. Colleges should make full use of existing resources to carry outschool-enterprise cooperation, increase funding for school teaching venues and equipment toprovide services for the development of ice-snow sports.6. Use single textbook. Colleges should put emphasis on the development of ownteaching materials, making school-based materials and the common textbook “The Ice-snowSports” of sports colleges complement each other. Colleges should also increase the qualityand quantity of reference materials and books to meet the needs of theory teaching forreference. The exiting ice-snow sports teachers can not meet the requirements of the teachingcurriculum, long-term discipline development and faculty needs a reasonable, scientific,comprehensive planning; Colleges should also encourage teachers to continue education.7. In the background of snow and ice resources, how to meet the needs of the community,promote the development of Skating and skiing sports, to create the Northeast snowcharacteristics, has become an important task of the three Northeast Professional sportscollege, but the development of teaching varies Skating and skiing sports, have their ownadvantages lack of communication and cooperation. Should strengthen the "school schoolcooperation", highlighting the Skating and skiing sports teaching characteristics.
