College Financial Performance Evaluation Research Based On The Radar Chart

With the development of science and technology, the higher education has theresponsibility of training professional and technical person to improve the corecompetitiveness of our country. With the rapid development of our economy during the thirtyyears, the reform of higher education has made remarkable achievement. However, the rapiddevelopment of higher education should ask us to increase the school conditions, which arenecessary to increase funding. The investment in education is not enough although the moneyspent on education increased year by year. The contradiction between shortage and inefficientuse of education seriously hampered the development of higher education. So a lot ofcolleges are certain financial problems. Thus, through the establishment of universityfinancial performance evaluation system, managers can configure the resources reasonably,strengthen the internal management and improve the utilization efficiency of educationresources.This paper based on theoretical researches on financial performance, analyses theestablishment principles of financial evaluation system and also described every indicator.This paper also use radar chart analyses the financial performance on a university in H. Sincethe school was established a long time, it has some defects on the efficiency of resourcemanagement. The teaching equipment was not keep up with the rate of increase in enrollment.If the shortage in these areas is not resolved it will affect the long term development of theschool. Then, according to the problems found in the financial management of the university,corresponding tactics and improvement measures are proposed.
