The Characteristics And Mode Of Information Dissemination In SNS

The background of this study wasthat networks became more and more important in our life and SNS (Social Network Site) the rised rapidly and became an important medium for the dissemination of information. The study aimed to explore the characteristics and patterns of the SNS in the dissemination of information. This study mainly focused on network information dissemination in social networking sites.I defined the scope of the research in SNS social networking, the users were mostly between the ages of18and29. In recent years, the Renren Site became more and more popular in youth groups, for its high permeability and high viscosity, we took it as a sample of this research, did empirical analysis to critical case event by using social Network Analysis. Then summed up the characteristics of structure interaction, the dissemination features of information, thedissemination modes of information in the SNS.Social network analysis method was the mainly research methods adopted in this paper, Ialso used literature study and comparative research method. There are twoinnovations, one was that relatively new research method, according to the existing research, wecould see that Social Network Analysis was widely used in information science, education and other fields, but it was rarely applied in sociology.The use of this method to the information dissemination on SNS sites would enrich the sociological study of social network analysis applications. Second, this was a much more specific research,I took SNS website as the research object in this paper instead of the whole internet as the existing literature, so we could get the more practical significance conclusion.At the present stage, most scholars did the related research of the information dissemination of with quantitative research method, and people who used qualitative analysis method often adopted survey methods, which lead to the conclusion unconvincing. Sothe use of social network analysis method to analyze SNS website further enrichedthe application of quantitative research methods on sociology. This article defined the scope in the SNS site, which was more more focused and we could draw credible and intuitive conclusions to discover SNS site characteristics and mode of information dissemination, took preparation for the optimization of the network behavior and information dissemination modein the SNS site.
