Research On The Functions And Countermeasures Of College Student Volunteer Service For Moral Education In Colleges And Universities For Nationalities

The college student volunteer service is an important part of society volunteerservices, and carried out an important part of university moral education. As animportant part of the higher education in China, Colleges and Universities forNationalities have played a special function in promoting the development of ethnicarea. Because Colleges and Universities for Nationalities have mainly recruit minoritystudents, there are some differences in terms of moral education comparing to thegeneral colleges and universities. This paper mainly analyzed the functions andshortcomings of college students volunteer service for moral education in Colleges andUniversities for Nationalities according to its speciality, then proposed a series ofcountermeasures and suggestions.This paper is organized as follows:First, the introduction introduces the background and significance of the research,and then discusses in detail about the research at home and abroad, the last piece isdescription innovations and methods of the research.Second, the first chapter mainly defines the related concept of volunteer serviceand presents the status and characteristics of the College Student Volunteer Service.Third, the second chapter introduces the specificity of moral education in Collegesand Universities for Nationalities. The first aspect expound the moral education targetof Colleges and Universities for Nationalities is unique, the second aspect is the contentof moral education of Colleges and Universities for Nationalities is special, and thethird aspect is the moral education environment of Colleges and Universities forNationalities is different. Through analyzing the particularity of these aspects, thispaper points out that the moral education of college student volunteer service ofColleges and Universities for Nationalities plays a different role compared with thegeneral colleges and universities.Fourth, the third chapter describes the role of college student volunteer serviceplaying in the moral development of Colleges and Universities for Nationalities. Thereare five aspects, the first is to improve the students’ overall quality of the Colleges andUniversities for Nationalities, the second is conducive to promoting the Colleges andUniversities for Nationalities’ national students solidarity, the third is good for strengthening the Colleges and Universities for Nationalities patriotism education, thefourth is benefit for enriching the moral education content of the Colleges andUniversities for Nationalities, the fifth is in favor of building a harmonious campusculture of Colleges and Universities for Nationalities.Fifth, the last chapter is through analyzing the main problems lying in collegestudent volunteer service prompting the moral education in Colleges and Universitiesfor Nationalities and discusses how to develop of college student volunteer service andmake full use of it.
