In recent years, with the increase in the number of bachelor’s degree graduates,the employment already is a it is quite common for the phenomenon, after theundergraduate course graduates, most people will choose to go to the eastern developedcoastal city or city development, and those where the school family and we are not thelocation of the students go to here it is in the constant increase, along with the newgroup has grown, they face more than the local people single interpersonal relationships,lack of social network, the shortage of social resources, the employment situation of thedifficulty can be imagined, in this context, in this part of the group’s employment socialsupport network investigation the imperative, we hope that through this investigation,research and analysis for a graduate university students employment than the socialsupport network situation, and help them to establish a reasonable and effectivegraduates to university than students employment social support network, which notonly has theoretical significance but also practical significance.This paper researches based on the developed coastal city of Dalian foreignbachelor’s degree graduates employment support network, in2011graduates (familyand undergraduate school are not working place) in Dalian Economic and TechnologicalDevelopment Zone, the employment of students as an example, the first data collectionusing the network questionnaire method, and then the descriptive analysis to it usingSPSS software, and the strength of relationship, social resources, structural holes theoryas the theoretical basis, carries on the description analysis on the overall situation ofsocial support network.To understand the basic characteristics of social employmentsocial support network of the sample, different subjects on their employment supportcontent; network scale, heterogeneity on employment and support effect; between theindividual heterogeneity and employment support network relationships, to analyze the basic process and forms of undergraduate than students of university graduatesemployment social support network.Followed by informal interviews and questionnairemethod, carries on the thorough analysis to quantify not convenient questionnaireprocess variables.According to the survey, analysis of non-students of university graduatesemployment support existing network the following points: the first in this sample, theemployment support network with larger scale, more can quickly find a job, the more isa good sign.Which found support in employment survey scale network, gender, major,region, occupation, parents is different, their employment network scale there is adifference.Secondly, in which graduates to university than students employment supportnetwork, found that the influence of the weak relationship for this group of employmentopportunities than strong ties; and found in the course of employment, to the group’sfinancial support, information support, emotional support, support the weak ties beyondkinship among parents outside, gradually occupy the leading role, the emergence of newsituations and Chinese traditional strong interaction between different.We hope that through this investigation, this employment support network sizesamples were described and found the shortcomings, and put forward correspondingsuggestion and countermeasure, and establish a social support network model of thepeople in this part of the, so this part of people can get effective help in the course ofemployment in the future.
